Steam Profile Name Tips
Steam names can be longer, but long names get cut off in friends lists and lobbies. Keep the first 12 characters meaningful so the name still works when it is shortened.
You can change your Steam name at any time, so test a few options before settling on one. Pick a name that fits the games you actually play.
